Srecialized owns the patent on the FSR design. All the bike makers building frames with the true FSR suspension design, ALL pay Specialized to to use it. There are a LOT of copanies that do this. They all may tweek it a little here or there, but it's basically the same. This IS an FSR design and NORCO has an agreement ($$) with Specialized to use it on maney of their full sus bikes. There is no "stealing" going on here. Specialized can sue any bike maker who uses their FSR design without their permi$$ion, and has done so in the past. NORCO and everyone else knows this and play by the rule$.
Actually no they don't. Norco has their own in house engineering dept who have managed to shave around a pound off that frame comprared to the 2007 version.
