Oh yes! Now you are ready for a long adventure.
Looking great.
How does it ride when the bags are heavy?
  • 1 0
Obviously too much load is always bad. It's better to use the front panniers, because they don't interfere with the handling of the bike. Heavy stuff at the front and lighter luggage at the back could be a wise rule. All in all the ride is very safe and stable and also fast. The bike itself is not heavy, only the load and the rider, ahaha!

I like the pannier setup, that would suit my Norco.

If I were you, I'd try some front panniers on your Bigfoot.

@slackliner: I'd love too, but they are close to £100 for the lighter ones with the width to fit a 4.6in tyre. Keep my eyes out on Ebay I think.

Nice rig! Funky seat post too.

The carbon seat post is supposed to have some flex and add comfort to the ride. I can't tell whether it really works this way.
