yeah, you could sand blast them. there's also a product called greased lightning that will strip anodizing and leave a nice raw finish. or just use a wire buffer and then polishing compound. or even have them re anodized a different colour, although might be too costly. if you did any of those, they would look nice with the right bike and build. they are not hollow tech, although 630grams is fairly light anyway.
