 @sterlingmagnum: sorry, glitch on the two postings. as it relates to western materialism or is it the fear of large quantities of things? Vacuum tube communications networks? Maybe the sample frozen foods. I certainly don't look forward to the long cashier lines ups.

I would add, alien abduction (relates to involuntary butt stuff I suppose), artificial intelligence, and climate catastrophe...and of course, my greatest fear of all, clowns.

 @conv3rt: for me costco represents the worst of people... shoving each other around stuffing their carts full of stuff fot stuffing themselves. Rudeness all around.... and I hate crowds... place is a nightmare for me.... will add all your additions

 @sterlingmagnum: It is a symptom of excess and materialism in the pursuit of happiness (materialism doesn't lead to happiness in my experience). We don't have one nearby and I don't miss it.

 @conv3rt: i rarely go in unless ordered by work or the missus... its grotesque.... that said I just discovered giant tubs of kimchi when last visited....yes... i bought one.
