 @nikoniko: You are very welcome man. I saw some very neat shows on bamboo building. The one company mills, soaks and bends, then bakes it, finally assembled it is covered in a clear poly cover. A company used to be run in New York City where you got to go make your own bamboo bike with their help. I think it was in the 2-3K range for price for the class/bike though.

 I thinks thats pretty good! To be able to build your own bike. The poly clear coat must make the bamboo shine!

 @nikoniko: It was beautifuly glossy, I think the price was for a single speed or fixie road bike. I’m not sure what the mountain bike price would be. (They supplied components if I remember right, so just a frame would be cheaper)
