 Much cooler if it were a shovel or a pan.....but not sure ive seen those heads before, doesn't look like a stock evo head.

 Or a knuckle... even better!!! Too true, a vintage motored machine would be so cool. As far as new customs though, I dig it. I assume it is the new Harley big twin motor, not sure if that’s still the twin cam or another design. I haven’t been up on the motorcycle scene like I used to be. I think they have some squirrely oil cooled head design now. Probably technically better and “reliable” but like most new things, with less soul. I did hear good things about the new models suspension and brakes... the two things I really would of liked better on newer Harley’s.

 @zapbranigon: Haha, as far as American street bikes go it doesn't get a second look unless its a chopped hardtail with a shovel. knuckle , pan or flat head.......Sold my last shoveled in 1994 and never looked back.The Harley culture shifted from real life bikers to wannabe celebrity rockstar posers.Oh yeah, its crazy on the roads nowadays. But yeah, I like to see choppers that a guy builds himself from the frame up.

 @slaker: Too true, I preferred when Harley models were “stock” and customized by hand. Not factory customs that look good until you see yourself coming down the road every other day. I’ve always been more 50’s “outlaw” racer greaser than bearded hippy biker, the posers are twats for sure. When I used to go to the local Harley place, I’d roll up on my sportster with oil dripping here and there, after riding dirt scrambler roads, and blasting down the highway... real motorcycle fun. Not the instant bad guy, bought my bike with my bonus junk. I was starting to get into the hooligan racing, and was planning on setting my bike up to try to qualify for xgames next year, but recently I’ve been thinking more about rebuilding my uncle’s (who passed away) pan /shovel bobber. Maybe cruise instead of race. We’ll see.

 @zapbranigon: Pretty sure this thing would blow out my hearing aid with the all terrain rubber but I kinda dig it .

 I agree w/ Slaker...pan head would be sweet. Cool looking bike, totally a 'zappy' bike! Big Grin

 @dariunfun: Haha! lol
It’d probably be humming rolling down the highway, no guess on how it would corner though. Ha!

 @zapbranigon: I have those tires on my truck so I don't have to listen to my wife. Every road becomes a radical road. lol

 @dariunfun: Hahaha! Hilarious! I wondered how they would lean on a bike, they seem pretty square and funky to lean around corners.

I enjoy funky old info films and vintage junk. lol

 @zapbranigon: Dude, that was killer! Very entertaining Smile

 @FIVE8FIVE: I now have the hankering to bomb off road on an old rigid Harley. Haha.

 @FIVE8FIVE: Awesome bro! Looks capable for off roading. Throw some flat track bars and risers on her and you could go race some hooligan flat tracks. Got much in the way of flat tracks out your way?

 @zapbranigon: Not to my knowledge...I'll have to look into that Smile

 @FIVE8FIVE: sweet man! They must have some somewhere, flat track hooligan racing looks like a blast. I still want to qualify for the xgames hooligan races. Haha.

 Yep custom looking hawgs from the factory is just wrong. Is this a factory build or custom? Looks sweet. Who makes that fork? Is it a hard tail or a soft tail?
  • 1 0
 I tried to find the builder but got zip beside this bike. No website or anything. Their name is “Funi Brothers Farm custom bikes” the bike I think is a stock softail slim (fork is a stock fork with fork gators added in place of chrome covers) I think it’s stock with all the tins removed and custom tank, rear fender, pipes, fork gators, head light grill and spring seat.

 Dude, that's insane! I wonder how that thing is off road, I'm pretty sure that's a hard tail !

 I think it’s a softail if you look right above the exhaust behind the transmission there is a big bolt, I think it’s the pivot point with the shocks hidden below the frame. I could be wrong though, it may be a hardtail frame or have been welded rigid. Check out the video I sent @Five8Five above... very cool off road WWII Harley stuff. Ground clearance would be iffy, but it’d probably have good grunt. I’d have to find the website again, but I used to frequent a vintage adventure motorcycle webpage, they had tons of old photos of people on full-size hardtail knucklehead and Panheads (rigid and duo glide) doing off road adventure tracks, scrambles, etc. super cool vintage stuff. I’m not sure how practical it is off road, but I would love to try.

 @zapbranigon: I think it looks like a older Sportster frame, some years I believe came in 2 pieces, the rear was bolted on so you may be seeing where the hardtail bolts into the main frame. Other than that, it could also be a 88 FXSTS Springer, but the monoshock design of the Springer looks a bit different where it pivots. Either way its super rad!!!

 @dirtyrig: CR 500...FTW! lol

 @FIVE8FIVE: oh yeah I'd take that for off road anyday, that's a beast!!!

 @dirtyrig: No doubt, rad to the max, whatever haphazard parts went into it. Tried to look up the builder on the web for closer pictures, couldn’t find jack squat... so they must be big time.

lol
