Claimed to be the world’s first lift-assisted foldable work stand, the Topeak Prepstand eUp features a foot-pedal-operated gas lift cartridge. It’s intended to provide 17 kg (37 lb) of lifting and lowering assistance for when working with e-bikes and other heavy things. In a sense, you can think of it as a massive dropper seatpost that, instead of holding a saddle, holds a bike.
