Have a chat with Hatch, he's the 4X expert... I'd say gears will give you the competative edge, but just to give it a go- you can ride whatever the heck you like!

Smooth, but twitchy as anything! Ive only bopped around on her for 5 mins, ut its like riding on air- tooo light for me and my poor skills- but Hatch has her dialled!
