Answers, just to be a general smartass:

1) 6y^2 - 5y - 0 is already simplified
However, it can be factorised to y(6y-5)

2) Cannot be simplified
Factorises to (3y-2)(3y+2)

3) 6^0 = 1

4)3^(-2) = 1/9

5)8^(1/3) = 2
