Hey Alastair - Hows it going man, it sounds like your getting a new bike finally? Are you really getting a Demo, that would be sick man! The old Kona COILAIR is doing the trick and should get me through the rest of the season. I've done a few upgrades (new Evolve DH crank, new Big Earl wheelset, new Crane Creed SR1 headset, and the DHX AIR is being serviced so I picked up a new DHX COIL 5.0 which just arrived today)!

I've been up to the mountain a few times and have loved it, this sport is addicting! With that all said I was curious if you could give some quick advice. I ended up braking the intagrated stem on the 888's and was wondering if it was possible to just run a regular stem on it (instead of getting an aftermarket intagrated unit)? I'm hoping that is possible because that way I could just pick one up locally instead of having to order it.

You should let me come up and session that rock with you once you new rig arrives, it looks like a lot of fun! Well take it easy man and thanks again for everything!
