No i think Ferrets are more english and smaller, thin little buggers and possoms are bigger, and look like they are constantly planning to take over the world, i'm no naturalist but ferrets look a tad different.

 they arent very common where i live so when i let him go i ran in to tell the guys i worked with i caught one,,and they were all like yeah right BS,,till i showed them these
