Hit a deer doin 110 just before jafrey dident have time to stop couldent swirve outa the way cuz of a semi and the rock cuts. it got ripped in have a quarter of it came over the hood and the rest went underneath and actuly lifted the truck off the ground. it was a crazy night

kind of sad since its a fairly new truck.. be glad you didnt swerve cause i was with a friend and he swerved and ended up flipping the truck. thats a definite write off. now just be sure to tell ICBC that the deer hit you, not you hit the deer lol

dude one time i was driving home with my dad and he was floring it, were ina a hummer btw and all the sudden i see a deer runnig out of the median and i go "oh shit deer!" and then like .125 second later BOOM the deer flew 30 feet up the road and we f*cking smashed it...

I've seen pictures of vehicles hitting deer or elk... and this looks like it was done at a slower speed. 110 would have f*ckED UP the front of your car. Like you said more than half of it went under the truck so you're lucky it didn't come through the windshield.(Pictures I looked at had the top of the car dented down until it's between the headrests of the two front seats)

i agree freerider 52.. 110 kms hittin a deer would do alot more damage.. i had a 1997 silverado 2500 and was going about 70 and hit a younger doe and had twice as much damage as this

yea but thats a 97 and this is a 08 thats about a 11 yr dif. the top of the hood is up to about my chest i think and im 6 ft. like i said the deer went underneath and it bent the drivers side a-arm a bit
