Its a bird! Its a plane! Naw dawg its a mountain biker!!

110

Gunnar (Oct 30, 2008 at 16:58)

It's so perfect that it seems photoshopped.

50

HarryBowler (Oct 31, 2008 at 5:45)

Why isnt it pod yet ??

fing amazing pic. is it photoshop tho?either way though its still a freakin dope pic

41

bikemaniac1993 (Nov 2, 2008 at 16:06)

even though this is defo POD material
i found an image that looked the same but wit out planes so i did some detective work
www.pinkbike.com/photo/2652787

it looks to me like the same picture what do you all think?

30

dirtjackson (Nov 2, 2008 at 16:58)

good find on that pic bikermaniac1993. but lets keep in mind he could also have taken the planes out and the one on the right is the original...

11

pS-P-TO-D-Km (Nov 2, 2008 at 17:53)

bikermaniac the one on the left of yourphoto is photoshopped, it looks very choppy, nice try

21

bikemaniac1993 (Nov 3, 2008 at 2:01)

www.pinkbike.com/photo/1623392
this is the link to what i think is the original

55

Gunnar (Nov 3, 2008 at 6:37)

This is definately photoshopped.
The original address is www.pinkbike.com/photo/1623392 and the address to this photo is www.pinkbike.com/photo/2579593 as you can see the original was posted way before this one because of it lower number proving that someone didn't photoshop out the planes.

10

JessD (Nov 3, 2008 at 11:27)

Either way they are both mint pics and both are good enuff 4 pod!x

12

benjo55 (Nov 3, 2008 at 13:07)

I don't think it's been photoshoped, on the "original" Picture his googles are a brighter red, where as in this picture they are much darker, like he is in shadow, all in all, it's a fantastic piture. well done (Y)

11

bikemaniac1993 (Nov 3, 2008 at 15:26)

look on my first link the guy whos picture it is has left me a comment onit

22

FLYING HIGH!!

10

bunjiman82 (Aug 16, 2021 at 4:10)

@Gunnar: It's obvious as a photoshop straight away due to the difference in where the sunlight is coming from on the rider as opposed to the planes. Sticks out like a sore thumb though it's a fun idea.

10

bunjiman82 (Aug 16, 2021 at 4:14)

@dirtjackson: No way dude, look at the light, on the biker and his bike it's most likely late afternoon sun coming from low down to the left but on the planes it's something like midday sun coming from the high right hand side. The planes and the mtber never inhabited the same native image, it's a fun photoshop and nothing more.

50

zubr (Oct 13, 2008 at 5:33)
