Go tubeless (ZTR Flow on Chris King ISO hubs), get a smaller guide with no bash, have a taco (cheese and chilli-mince optional), slx cranks, tioga spider seat, XTR mech or X0, cut seatpost to as short as possible, cut steerer tube, use only one spacer underneath, a 5mm one, and make it carbon, get a Chris king zero-stack headset, straitline 35mm 0 rise stem, shimano DX clip pedals, and maybe a fox float 180 fork if you can afford one.
hahaha thanks for that writeup. alot has changed since this pic was taken. saint brakes, atlas cranks, straitline pedals, full x9 setup, a pg970 road cassette, and maxxis tires. went tubeless for a while in my back wheel but i had to change something so i went back to a dh tube but after recent frustrations im going tubeless again. there are more changes planned for the future, as i just got a job at a shop....one includes a vanilla 180 (which is stille lighter than the 66, and hey, maybe even a new frame (with a coil shock) and then along with that would come a few other things that would top it off, then that would be looking sub 37-36
really i would have thought something like 31 haha, but really sick bike i want one so bad i had the xcl and the evo just need that one to complete the family
