 Dude thats exactly what i was thinking! My boot'r Is like a 8" travel bike. On staight aways it accelerates like my old hardtail! Freedrive does KICKASS!

 I wish the Khyber was a small or a medium instead of a large.... otherwise I'd probably still have it.

 I agree Mongoose has had their problems, but in the past couple years they have really stepped up their game with their higher-end bikes... the Khyber being one of them, which I ride. Sure, Mongoose has a bad rap as being shit, but until you ride one and see how they have progressed you do not know how good they have gotten. If you have ridden one and you still think it is shit fine, but if you are just saying they are shit, because everybody is saying it that is where the problem lies. A Mongoose with good components is just as good as any other big money bike, and you can not buy that shit at Walmart.

 Yeah, no doubt... I have had many bikes, and my Khyber ranks right up there w/ the best of them. Check my album in a few days and see what I have done with the Khyber... it is getting all new components, etc. for '09.

 I own a boot'r Custom Myself. Mongoose's freedrive system can outperfrom almost any other suspension design. Funny how people say mongoose sucks but they've never ridden a 2008-2009 Mongoose.

 I absolutely love the Freedrive system... it is much like GT's I-drive. I first experienced that in '99. A lot of people's complaints are that it is "old" technology, and they need to revamp it. I say, if it is not broken, do not fix it.
