yeah is really frustrating. i would keep it here, but the porters are based at the bottom of the building that im in. if i want it here i need to put it inside a bike bag everytime i want it inside. so its too much effort tbh.
i havent noticed it, but ive still got to do some work on the upper guide, as i cant get it to sit all the way down because the alignment with the chainring is a bit wrong.
yeah im gonna do that. when i get the money, being a student isnt easy (too much drinking you see...) but yeah as soon as i can, im going to put a dhx 5 on with a ti spring. for what i use it for it will suit it much better. the air shock works fine, but im planning on going out to the alps on this so i dont think that the air shock will be able to handle it.
yeah, ive had 2 biks with DHX5s on, a norco shore 1 and my demo 8 and i love how much adjustment there is in them. thats what i don't like about the shock ive got at the moment, its either set up right for small bump absorbtion or for big jumps. never both. so ive found im bottoming out on most big jumps now because i do more dh than freeride.
cheers dude, havent had a huge chance to ride it as i only got it in november and my uni wont let me keep it in my room (shame cos im at swansea which has awesome riding around), whenever i come back for a weekend, i make sure it gets a good ragging though. ive put a fair amount of money in to it, and the only thing i need to look at is the chainguide which is rubbing a bit. when thats sorted it will be perfect.
