could somebody please explane to me what the atvantage of the vpp or dw systhem is?? i just dont understand it....
thx

the VPP and DW links cancel out the compression of the suspension that happens when you pedal, by using the tension of the chain to stop the rear suspension compressing but the suspension is still active over bumps, by using some sort of magic....... the linkages also cancel out brake jack which is where the suspension moves through its travel due to braking. the only critisism towards the links are that they are alot more complex than a single pivot and can make the rear end heavy so that the suspension doesn't move as freely. i hope i have helped you.

yeah I understood! but yesterday i rode the m6 of a friend of my and it sacked in while i pedled so this means it didnt cancle out the compression of the suspension.........
or am i just too stupid to understand it=)??

well, its always gonna use up some travel when pedaling, thats what pro-pedal was invented for, as when you pedl your pushing down on the frame therefore compressing the shock, if you ride, for example a Norco which has neither the VPP or DW linkage, they sag an awful lot when pedalling
