That is a stupidly nice bike, although the stem looks out of place.
  • 92
you don't like that one? I had a Funn Rippa, and thought it looked like crap. This ones light, and is completely rounded and bolt-free at the back, so my knees are happier!
  • 40
nice but this would look super lush with a regular bmx stem what you think ?
  • 20
 need higher-rise. I'm a lurch.
  • 10
 what stem is that?
  • 10
 Thompson 4-bolt BMX
  • 40
Its ok, I suppose. Its just with a Dob and Micro knobbies you should be running a SOOPER GNAR BMX STEM!11!11!!!!@&&!!!1

Sorry about the quote fail.

 function over fashion.
  • 40
 agreed.
  • 21
If you were truely going for function over fashion would you not have 20mm forks and stronger wheels? 719s are mega sketch.
  • 20
They are only 2mm narrower than possibly the most popular DH rim out there.
  • 20
They are still sketch. Ask Mitchdog.
  • 20
 Its all about the buildddd.
  • 30
JoshSt: it is a 20mm fork, and I built those wheels because they are the best combo of weight to strength I can find. I've jumped on them for the last 9 months, and they're perfect. You just need to know how to build wheels right!
  • 20
joshst: how did you mix up weight and fashion? the wheels are light, which to some people(inc. me) means they are high performance to a certain extent, im not going to go run some xc race wheels but these seem to be holding up fine for him so why not save the weight? just my 2cents.

Dude my Amp is Sub 24 pounds and i run a brake,it's hardly over 22 pounds brakeless. And my Pincher is just a build to flip,i will be selling it to some lucky kid before Christmas for cheep.I could stick a Fox 831 on it but who could afford it then.Your bike is still really nice i just don't think 26.5 pounds is light when u don't even run a brake and have a xc fork, but to each his own...right?I mean what do i know i've only been building bikes for 12 years and specialize in street/dj bikes.
  • 20
whooppee for you. I never said 26.5 was particularly light, however people ask for the weights of my builds so I post them.
I've been professionally building street/park/dj bikes for 5 years now. If I wanted advise on building up a minuteman with Z1's, I'd ask you. Otherwise... no advise needed, thanks.
  • 40
It is a pinscher, and about 2500 (ballpark)

  • 20
how are the 719's over all? thinking of upgrading to them from 521s, can u give me feedback on em?
  • 30
They're good, very light, but you have to pay attention to your spoke tension more than you would with a 721, or something similar
  • 10
yeah same deal with 521s, thx
  • 30
 How much is this new?
  • 30
And it's a pinscher frame too right?
  • 20
dude i want some micro tires like that but r they for dirt or for street
  • 30
either really. I used them for both. A little slippery on loose dirt, but whatever.
  • 20
yeh that was my concern but im probly gonna go with the micro knobbys
  • 10
26.5 pounds and u run a xc fork and no brakes shit that's a heavy bike bro!
  • 20
thanks bro! Glad for your input... I respect your opinion in particular since you apparently trust society forks and can't make an alu. frame build lighter than some of my steel ones.
  • 20
