f*cking snapped the chainstay on my sx trail, took 8 days and 150 euros to get a new one :(

wtf????? warranty only covers certain parts of the frame???? mate thats bullshit!!!! its like when you buy an sx trail frame it comes complete the warranty will only cover the shock for 2 years i think and i think it doesnt cover the dropout... if you are the second owner talk to the first owner asking about the warranty papers and he can go to the shop with the broken frame... and where do you see that you loose the warranty if you paint the frame?? you may paint it if you dont get to the metal... if you just used sandpaper and scrached the top painting whithout getting to the metal and painted over you dont loose the warranty...

Was een beetje aant rijden in Hafjell in Noorwegen, best vette banen daar. Toen ik voor de 4x keer de grote drop op de dh track daar deed (eerste 3x ging wel goed dus), hoorde ik een harde knal en er liep wat aan (geen crash dus). Toen ik keek was mn hele achterbrug doormidden en dat gene wat aanliep was mn schijf die ook nog bijna door de achterbrug heen was gesleten :S
Heel kut, maar shit happens. Ben allang blij dat ik er zelf niets aan over heb gehouden.
