i'm 180 lbs (83 kg) and use a 450 lbs spring on roco wc... but I can not use all travel (70mm/2.75") So I thought I would take a 400
my attual sag is 20mm ...with that of 400 I should get to 23mm (33 % sag)

sounds good for you, you should try it! i use a pretty hard one because of my riding style. but actually on my opinion, roccos aren't that good, maybe try the set-up first and if you cant do nothing about it try change the spring! , i actually broke on half that one on the picture with the 550 spring..
