9 Things We Learned from the 2026 Leogang DH World Cup
@tacopop: it does, the action gets progressive when watching women then men. Men then women means we see the fastest people on the planet and immediatly after the slowest woman on track (I dont mean women are slow, its just the slowest Q2 time).

Review: Trickstuff's Maxima Brakes Are Fancy and Finicky
had this brakes for almost 2 years now, bleeding them when first installed them was a bit tricky but only because I did it the way I usually bleed brakes, once i followed their instructions, they have performed incredibly.
the brake is extremely powerful and takes some time to adjust to it. running them with Shark discs makes a killer combo.
the fact that they have so much power and super light level pull makes this brake incredible! I hesitated with hopes but never again DOT. I've tried many brakes because I'm on the bike industry. mavens are good but on long trails they become super stiff. and still not as powerfull as maximas

Can MTB Brakes Stop a Honda Fit? We Tested 10 Four-Piston MTB Brakes
the car test looks fun but the brakes were never engaged the same way, what I mean is that the rope never had the same tension at the start, wich made some braking distances worse because when it fully tight, the bike would just jump forward agressively and the real braking only start later down the course

Video: Freshest & Steepest World Cup Track! | 2025 La Thuile DH World Cup Course Preview
for someone who has actually ridden both, I think its a missed opportunity for La Thuile, they have some of the best natural tech trails around, just look at EWS footage. And yet, the best they could come up with is fire roads with steep cuts in between and a couple of jumps here and there.
Old school Champery is for sure steeper. Current state of Champery's track isn't that steep anymore.
