  • 1 0
Do you want my forks just for the steerer? don't want to buy my forks now?
Well if it's had cracks etc then I think I could only offer 100?
  • 1 0
yeah you're right man £100 sounds good, yeah i only wanted to buy them for the steerer because my steerer is like 15mm too short, same forks as yours. was going to just change the uppers lowers and keep my internals.
  • 1 0
Yeah ok dude so 100 for you're frame, and you can have my forks for 80 seeing as you've been pretty enthuisiastic!
When/where do you wanna meet?
  • 1 0
oh no man i don't need the forks because my new frame is going to have internal headset so will have more steerer tube available, get me?
  • 1 0
Oh ok, i'd probably meet you if I did buy it becasue it's quite easy for me to get to London so?!?

  • 1 0
hahaha! awh man nah sorry, i have an old mac2 park laying around though, but its really worn down so you wouldn't want it haha!
  • 1 0
 idk do i? haha
how much would you want for it?
  • 1 0
Errm yeah most probably, I'll do them for 90 if we meet up!
Oh ok, has it got any cracks/dents etc? Would you do 110?
  • 1 0
yeah man nice one, i will start saving money as of now, won't take me long mate. did have 2 hair line cracks, one was about 8m long and the other was about 2mm long. They got welded and i've been riding harder then ever lately and nothing has accured, as of dents, there's one front the crank arm but it doesn't affect anything. i think there might be a very slight dent on the downtube but only noticeable if you run your finger on it.
  • 1 0
 erm 120?
  • 1 0
Oh ok, would you be interested in swapping? Forks for your frame? Plus like 10/20 from me?
  • 1 0
yeah when i get my new frame i will do that mate!
  • 1 0
actually, could you jsut buy my frame, because i needed the forks for the steerer tube, but new frame im gna get will have shorter headtube so it will be kind of unnecessary lol
  • 1 0
Oh ok sorry dude was a bit of mix and match reading those messages, so no
forks for you! And you'll sell your frame for 100?
  • 1 0
haha yeah me sorry too mate, yeah man £100. If you don't want to travel to london to meet me i can post it, i will put it on ebay for incase you think i will scam you for your money or something man, just so that it's a secure payment?
  • 1 0

  • 1 0
 JUST THE FRAME! £120 mate
  • 1 0
i like it i live in p'mouth so ill think how long is top tube and can i have seat and post for +30 cheers
  • 1 0
 p'mouth? plymouth? portsmouth?

557mm toptube mate, which is 21.9 tt, bloody nice frame mate so you wanna pay £150 in total mate?
  • 1 0
Drool dude that ride is soo nice! good jobtup

ps. what chain do you ride? Smile
  • 1 0
thanks man, this was my ride during the summer, the frame, back wheel, cranks and back tire are gone now though! and i'm also changing my bars stem and front wheel. pictures of my new ride will be up soon, but just some cheeky shots Wink

I use a KHE Collapse, it is good until it gets stiff links that are really hard to get out! Frown but the chain is the strongest i have ever used. I have snapped 2 sprockets and other chains, but not this chain.
  • 1 0
might have to take a peek at those photos:P and cheers man would you say the chain is worth getting?Smile
  • 1 0
haha yeah man i'll drop you a message when they're up!

if you're looking for a super strong, reliable chain it is probably the best around as far as i know, i cannot believe the strength to weight ratio of it. i've snapped normal 1/8 chains and half link chains but now this. if you ride park, it is absolutely perfect! if you ride dirt, be prepared to lube it up about once every 2 weeks or so. but it depends whether the dirt is like dusty man cuz thats why will make it get stiff links Frown

but yeah i rate the chain 9/10, reason why not 10 of 10 because it gets stiff when riding dry dusty dirt Frown
  • 1 0
haha i ride park anyways so i'll get one of these thenSmile
  • 1 0
 haha yeah man sicko
  • 2 0
aha i c. kinda reminds me of a trials bike.
  • 2 0

Keith mate your bike looks fucking siick man!!!!
  • 1 0
 cheeers yo, come ride soon!
  • 2 0
 a little too street?
  • 1 2
the only street thing about my bike is the seat?
  • 2 0
i wouldnt say.the whole thign looks street to me
  • 1 2
hmmm, what defines a "street" bike then? seeing as i have a mac2 dirt on front, along with suspension, wide bars ie more and better control at a higher speed like on dirt jumps and my rear end isn't very short and my tt is 22.7". if my bike was supposedly looking street i'd have lower narrower bars, possibly rigids, a shorter slammed rear end and two mac2's.
  • 2 0
you mave micro gearing, street bikes usually have big bars, some people prefer suspension if they land flat alot.i juts think it looks like it would be good for street
  • 1 2
you have a micro penis. well i must admit, it does feel pretty damn nice on street as well as dirt, haha. but it would feel nicer with a shorter rear end and a mac2 park on front. Smile
  • 2 0
haha, wow.umm,i guess its a bit more towards park/street than dirt(i would say) but if oyu prefer dirt thats fine
  • 1 2
the geometry is set towards riding dirt, lol.
  • 2 0
 yeah i guess
  • 1 2
guess? my bike so just stfu. i think i know what it's built for.
  • 1 2
you're 12 and you think you can tell me what a street bike is? that's just, no.
  • 3 0
never said it wasnt for dirt.i just said it looks liek it would be good for street
  • 1 0
How much was the frame, and where did you get yours?
  • 1 0
Cost me £170 from soneone called "Elbry" on here, i went to Tiverton to meet him to get it. Message him on here and he'll give you some directions to one. I might be selling this frame though.
  • 1 0
Oh ok thanks, I have a look into that!
How much would you sell for? Has it got any cracks/dents etc?
Thanks,
Elliot
  • 1 0

  • 1 0

  • 1 0
omg i want it!! its well nice dude!
  • 1 0
 £120 for the frame?
  • 1 0
but is it still solid and can u see the crack
  • 1 0
yes its solid and no you can't as it's been welded buddy
  • 1 0
do you still have this? if so i am interested in buying it
  • 1 0
alright mate, what i didn't say in description for selling is that the frame cracked bout 2 months ago, got it welded and it's been strong as ever now, just to let you know. let me know
  • 1 0
is the re-weld noticable? where about did it crack? can you take a pic fo where it was cracked please mate
  • 1 0
not extremely but it was welded after i sprayed it white, i'll get you pics mate.
  • 1 0
thats coool i will probably spray it anyways as i am not too fond of white frames, i like them but they get scuffs on then so easily same as mine which is why i am not going for yellow again lol and cheers bud
  • 1 0
dude i can but at christmas time????, where did you get this frame?
  • 1 0
haha good luck i won't have it by then sorry
  • 1 0
sick what do small forks ride like on 24? thinking of lowering my argyles
  • 1 0
depends all on the geo of the bike mate, my bars felt too high with forks at 100mm so i lowered them to 80mm and it feels alot better to ride park and dirt with. small forks on 26 wud be the same as "small" forks on a 24 anyway mate because of the frame geo
  • 1 0
sickk. theres no point in having the seat so low though aha
  • 1 0
haha no need for me to have it any higher though really, i got a diff frame now, new pics when build is completely refurbished Smile
  • 1 0
like it .. usually hate white too, other than the gay rotor looks dialled

  • 1 0

  • 1 0
on the left weld on headtube to down tube and on bottom of toptube to headtube
  • 1 0
 Hey, what chain is this?
  • 1 0
KHE Collapse, definitely recommended if you're looking for something strong and not very heavy, but, keep it lubricated!
  • 1 0
