that bike is orgasmic! except for the seat put a bigger one and a bit higher cuse like that you can´t do any trick grabing the seat like toboggan or superman seat grab what bar is that? it´s awesome!
hey next year I´m going to do a culturl exchange to england and I won´t to take my bike are there a lot of mtb riders there? and places to ride? I think I´m going to london
about £1500, or about £1600 including prices for some mods haha. the frame is a samoon flower 24. they're 28inches which is erm, pretty much 710mm, or 711.2mm
no worries, this frame is the 24inch version, hence the 24inch wheels, lol. haha cheers for such compliments man, you should feel how well it rides on jumps man, so so nice, as well as skateparks! i beleive the frame's are £280 new, but there's a shop selling them for £240 and i got mine for £170.
hahah if i ever see you around her man i'll let you have a go fo' sho!
frame is so so light, weighed it the other day before spraying it! mine is roughly 4.6lbs!
weighed 4.8lbs with the headset and bb in!
yeah man i did save a fair amount!
because the photo was taken the day after i had taken my bike apart, sprayed it and cleaned every part! thank you for such the compliment man! it rides liek a beaut too, and has done for the past many months!
yeah you're right man £100 sounds good, yeah i only wanted to buy them for the steerer because my steerer is like 15mm too short, same forks as yours. was going to just change the uppers lowers and keep my internals.
Oh ok, i'd probably meet you if I did buy it becasue it's quite easy for me to get to London so?!? I'll have a think and get back to you! Cheers buddy, elliot
yeah man nice one, i will start saving money as of now, won't take me long mate. did have 2 hair line cracks, one was about 8m long and the other was about 2mm long. They got welded and i've been riding harder then ever lately and nothing has accured, as of dents, there's one front the crank arm but it doesn't affect anything. i think there might be a very slight dent on the downtube but only noticeable if you run your finger on it.
actually, could you jsut buy my frame, because i needed the forks for the steerer tube, but new frame im gna get will have shorter headtube so it will be kind of unnecessary lol
haha yeah me sorry too mate, yeah man £100. If you don't want to travel to london to meet me i can post it, i will put it on ebay for incase you think i will scam you for your money or something man, just so that it's a secure payment?
thanks man, this was my ride during the summer, the frame, back wheel, cranks and back tire are gone now though! and i'm also changing my bars stem and front wheel. pictures of my new ride will be up soon, but just some cheeky shots
I use a KHE Collapse, it is good until it gets stiff links that are really hard to get out! but the chain is the strongest i have ever used. I have snapped 2 sprockets and other chains, but not this chain.
haha yeah man i'll drop you a message when they're up!
if you're looking for a super strong, reliable chain it is probably the best around as far as i know, i cannot believe the strength to weight ratio of it. i've snapped normal 1/8 chains and half link chains but now this. if you ride park, it is absolutely perfect! if you ride dirt, be prepared to lube it up about once every 2 weeks or so. but it depends whether the dirt is like dusty man cuz thats why will make it get stiff links
but yeah i rate the chain 9/10, reason why not 10 of 10 because it gets stiff when riding dry dusty dirt
hmmm, what defines a "street" bike then? seeing as i have a mac2 dirt on front, along with suspension, wide bars ie more and better control at a higher speed like on dirt jumps and my rear end isn't very short and my tt is 22.7". if my bike was supposedly looking street i'd have lower narrower bars, possibly rigids, a shorter slammed rear end and two mac2's.
you mave micro gearing, street bikes usually have big bars, some people prefer suspension if they land flat alot.i juts think it looks like it would be good for street
you have a micro penis. well i must admit, it does feel pretty damn nice on street as well as dirt, haha. but it would feel nicer with a shorter rear end and a mac2 park on front.
Cost me £170 from soneone called "Elbry" on here, i went to Tiverton to meet him to get it. Message him on here and he'll give you some directions to one. I might be selling this frame though.
alright mate, what i didn't say in description for selling is that the frame cracked bout 2 months ago, got it welded and it's been strong as ever now, just to let you know. let me know
thats coool i will probably spray it anyways as i am not too fond of white frames, i like them but they get scuffs on then so easily same as mine which is why i am not going for yellow again lol
and cheers bud
depends all on the geo of the bike mate, my bars felt too high with forks at 100mm so i lowered them to 80mm and it feels alot better to ride park and dirt with. small forks on 26 wud be the same as "small" forks on a 24 anyway mate because of the frame geo
except for the seat
put a bigger one and a bit higher cuse like that you can´t do any trick grabing the seat like toboggan or superman seat grab
what bar is that?
it´s awesome!
