You mean the zoom range is too small?

Actually, it makes a lot of sense. This is sort of a specialty lens. Its an extremely wide angle of view. I'll admit, the zoom part is not so "impressive" but when you are shooting at 10mm, just zooming in to 15mm is a very noticeable difference. Its not so much about zooming in from far away, but more about composing shots in a very wide angle of view.

 no point in having such a small lense like why would you need a 10 to 20 mm lense like it just doesnt make sense
