What's funny is that little wood booter down there is like 20' tall or something if I remember right! It was pretty big. I guess some local guy snuck out there before the event and tried to hit something...straight to the hospital he went. I guess that says a little about the skill level the pros are layin down.

 Vanderham was hands down the coolest guy out there. He even let me build a pretty major step-down/drop on his line...and he dug it! Sounds silly, but building is the only thing I love more than riding, and getting to build a line for the Rampage? What's cooler than that?
There were a few other guys out there too that were pretty awesome...but in general, I was a tad disappointed with most. Perhaps there was just too much focus in the air, as well as nerves, but a lot of noses in the air...
And did I mention that Vanderham is little? WTF? He looks friggin huge on a bike. I was expecting him to be atleast 6 foot...but I'm 5'8", and I'm pretty sure he's shorter than me... no big deal, just funny how you can form these images of people in your head...
