 ahd for what it's worth, that's a sweet bike. I was thinking of sticking a slightly longer stem on my scott as i got lumped with a frame that's a little small for me (beggers can't be choosers) and the 50mm hussefelt stem is a killer on the climbs!

 dude this bike is savage and tbh im all up for the extended stem as the one on my xc bike is like 40mm reach im so crampt up front its untrue but this sx is the nuts but how is the new standover cause my uncle has one of the earlier sx framsets and its stnadover is really high gotts feel a little odd with such a lot of space??

 It is very compact and allows a lot of movement on the bike , The stem was out of neccessity as it is a very small cockpit and i kept catchin my knees on the bars and found it very difficult to pedal up steep stuff.

 I have said kill your self for one motive, I think this stem, do not looks good in your bicycle, thomsom is a good stem, but too tall. and the your sx trail looks loke with a cross country bike, in my opinion, this frame can´t stay together with this stem
