Is there an advantage to drilling the sides vs. the top of the rim? Seems like drilling the sides would make the rim weak? Sweet ass rig BTW!!!

Nah, the middle is just kind of awkward to drill so we did the sides. Been holding up for a full season now, missing 3 spokes.
