Clearly. I was commenting on how the bike is not designed for single speed use.

Few fullies are built with single speed in mind, but this single speed setup was designed for fullies, it's not out of place.

If it weren't for the single speed aspect, that would be a sweet ride.

A lot of slopestlye/ full sus jump rigs seem to be going singlespeed - check out the new Kona Bass

I'm quite aware of the single speed slopestyle setups these days, I myself had a Cowan DS. I was more commenting on the fact that this particular frame was not designed for single speed use, hence the odd dual-pulley tensioner and chainguide setup.

BB pivots are pattended.. and hard to redesign.. to keep the price low design costs are kept to a minimum.. the tensioner and guide do not add that much weight though..
