Why are you milling this? I'm just curious. Maybe I'm the only one wondering that's on the wrong page here.... Cool machine none the less. Full digital Atlas lathe on site too??

Eh, they looked like crap? After paint you couldnt tell they ever existed. And a 2.5 tire inflated was a pain to remove as the tire hit on the way out. Just one of those things that takes 10 mins, so just did it haha

No digital/cnc machines here, I have to operate them by hand. I WISH I had cnc.

 :'C I want a mill!!!

there's a steep learning curve on those multi axis mills as I understand it. I would love to have one too though!! Till then, I will rig things up on the drill press and push my luck... lol

I still want one, lol! I've gotta get a drill press going on. I just want one with a multi axis base so I can 'tune' parts and get some moar cheap weight weenieing down. Plus fabbing up parts.

You should see the geared base I have... Thats the ultimate weight weenie mill attachment, Spin around an axis... My bash will be attacked with that soon

That's what I want! But they're like £300+ here for just the base. And I can't find them second hand either. I'd be fine with that and a drill press to do my weenieing. Frown

For now I'll have to stick to spending ages with a dremel.

I wouldn't call it a steep learning curve to use one. To be good with one is another story
