Bertie, it's a good bike for freeride as it's nice for jumps and drops. It pedals well and isn't too heavy. The thing I didn't like about it was that as the suspension moves through it's travel, the bottom bracket (and therefore the pedals) move back and forth. Landing of drops and jumps is fine but I found it very unsettling over roots and fast braking bumps and stuff. I still think it's a good bike, though, despite that. I've kept mine and I'm going to build it up again at some point.
