3. I know you said it was a curb in the first comment. The article didn't say he was riding his bike when he turned the corner. So he could have tripped on a curb, turning a corner, while walking home.

 Being Scottish makes a difference because there was a certain TV programme i.e CHILDREN IN NEED which he was a guest on and described how he broke his collar bone.

And I know it wasn't turning a corner, because he said he did it while stepping up onto a kerb, which he then tripped on.

Considering you are still fighting a losing battle I can only assume you have 'nothing better' to do.
