exqueeze me? Is that bandage over your neck where you had a 'central line', ie: 'IV catheter in your neck', ie: 'garden hose in your frickin jugular'! Cuz that's what it looks like to me. I can tell from this and your inscision they weren't wasting time. Holy fack, and you aren't playing it up like one guy I know does every time he gets a grass cut. I have to repost your photo so I can put it in my "Riders-I-Think-Are-Hot folder.

haha your post made me feel better for sure lol. the bandage is covering the opening they used to snake a blood filter through my vascular system. clotting the major concern right now, so they are taking every precaution to make sure i get back to normal asap.

Tell me more about this blood filter. Were they taking blood out, filtering it, then returning it? What did they call it? I can't fathom why they would have filtered it unless...well maybe that's for another day.

it is like a cheese grater type thing that they snaked through my vascular system. once they positioned so that it would stop clots from reaching my heart and lungs, the filter opened up like an umbrella to stay in place. it is not an external filter, just a internal thing to break up clots. i will find out soon how long it has to been in (they said anywhere from 2 weeks to 6 months). And in the mean time I am on like 6 different medications, 2 of which are blood thinners, and of those one is an injection in the stomach twice a day

I like to think I'm a know it all but I've never heard of that cheese grater thing. I will gladly come give you your Lovenox injections
