The colors are getting a bit outta hand if you ask me though, like the mint green you could kinda match most parts...the purple was hip new change I guess, but red?

I mean if they offer it in 3 different travels why not give 3 different colors too, they all use the same lowers so not like it would a lot to production costs

I know it really is a shame- for example I am looking at powder coating my frame, and doing the fork in any color would be like 20 bucks- for a one off essentially. Now, I imagine a factory could do batches of ano much cheaper. It would probably cost them next to nothing to offer forks in like 10 different colors. Letter campaign?

They won't be red all, there will be white and black options most likely.
Probably the aftermarket 302 will be black, 318 white and the 409 red.
Here's a black one for example.

The red rct comes set at 140mm where as the other colors come preset at 100 mm I believe. It's only a 5 minute job really to lower the travel anyhow I just did mine a couple of weeks ago, pretty straight forward. And there is only 1 model of the RCT, the only difference on OE argyles are decal color usually, the rest of them still have the fun bendable steel stantions.

thats kinda cool, more for all round riding then?

Probably way too stiff damping for all around riding- it uses aluminum pike stanchions so why not give a 140 option? It is basically a pike without the travel adjust.

yah but im saying that the 140 will work for am (or more so than before) and then the smaller ones for dj.

i think the reason it comes 140 now is because theirs no pike on the website so im guessing its discontinued
