Start hounding them. It's what we had to do to get snowboarding accepted on mountains. Hound them and show them the money they are missing. Eventually they all cave. Even if they hate you, they will find they like your money more.

 They use grass as their excuse. They need the grass on all their slopes to insulate what little snow we get. We live in the Southeast, where Winter snow is ridiculously shallow. But yes, we're not giving up.

 Also show them that the trails aren't as wide as they might think. Make them skinny where they need to be skinny. When all else fails show them the money. It works every time. Point out a good bike park in the area might make more money that a short ski season.
