Dude, weight? Stem looks fugly, PRO FRS are uber cheap and light too, unless you go Foride or Point1 for style. And keep to flats! Devil pedals are baaad. tup

The spike stem was my best stem to pick,my steer tube length was not that long only 19cm,the spike stem fits it nicely and i head 1cm left for spacers.Other stems are to tall and i head no more space left.Other stems are 5-6cm tall and the spike was only 3cm.

PRO FRS is 35mm Wink . But yah, if you ever switch out the headset, a crank brothers directset will give you a few precious millimetres to play around with for stems.
  • 10
But are the crank brothers semi intergrated?
  • 20
No, they're for a press fit external setup. They're just super low & light as they use the cups as the bearing races too. No extra material necessary. www.crankbrothers.com/directsets_opiumc.php

They look good & very light but i love my Cane Creek 110 headset. The Opium C is about half the price and 50g lighter, great warranty i see(5 years) but no life time warranty like the Cane Creeks(119 years).

I've never had a bike for more than 2 years, let alone 5. Haha, but if you're good with the 110 then enjoy it. They're siick.

  • 10
 still under construction
  • 20
Least you have something hot to ride while the 10 is under construction. I still can't get over how hot your bike is.
  • 10
Thanks and the 10 is gonna be even way hotter than the Ghost, stay tuned when the first pic's arrive on Pinkbike.
  • 10
 still waiting -_-
  • 10
 patience is everything
  • 10
but its just your swapping parts around onto different bikes it would be good to see the 10 fully completed after all this time.
  • 10
Getting a custom build on the 10 what im planning is not so easy as it looks, the previous builds where all experiments to see how far i can push the weight down of a session 10,it's easy said than needs to be done.Im very picky about my builds especialy when it comes to a project bike that im working on it for a pretty long time.Everything needs to be perfect which is not an easy task.
  • 10
well, do you have an estimated time of completion?
  • 10
I cannot say exactly when completion is there but money is also a factor,if im not fiancial good how much i can spend than i cannot buy new parts.Soo the money factor i need to watch to see how that goes but that's why i said patience is everything.
  • 10
im not criticising your other builds either as they are all absolutely amazing. i could understand with money issues. just my thought was seeing as the session was the original project you would have kept at it even more. good luck and mucho props to your builds Salute
  • 20
Thanks mate im looking forward to that moment, this will be my biggest project i have ever build!.I will not dissapoint any one that follows the project from the beginning. This will be a stunning bike .

  • 22
 4x race machine with flats..??
  • 22
I don't race 4x that much, only 1 or 2 races per year. There is no need to run clipless,i preffer flats over clipless any day of the year.
  • 33
why did you build a bike like this and not even race it?
  • 22
Oh so i run flats means i failed hard to you that i don't ride with clipless pedals to your'e standardsMadder Facepalm ,now i need to get rid of my fail bike because i don't race that very much and i have flats which is not OK according to Mr.Stryke Madder .

Im the person who build this bike to my own standards, not you so if you shut up for 1 time and not being a jerk by asking these caint of comments.

I have given my reason why i run flats, end of story
  • 32
actually my question was why did you build a 4x race bike (a very nice one at that) then dont race/ride 4x with it?
  • 10
Im not a pure 4x racer that does whole cups,i build my 4x bike for the fun for having fun on the 4x tracks. If there is a race i could ride it which is only 1 per year
  • 10
if fantaman wants to build a super light 4x bike and not race it, its his choice, whats it to you?
  • 13
 nothing at all?
  • 40
Then why are you making a huge deal about it?
  • 10
 What seatpost is that?
  • 10
 kcnc ti pro lite
  • 10
