Went on a road trip from Chilliwack to Gold Bridge to ride at Tyax with friends from BC and Alberta from July 16th to 18th, 2010.

I'm totally glad you put these pics up. I was kind of wondering what the drive to Tyax was like, since it was looking pretty remote, and it seemed like lots of people were flying in.

I went with 16 others from ALberta and BC and we all drove in. YOu can easily get there in a Carola as the road is well maintained, just gas up in Lillouette or Pemberton to be sure you've got gas while there and everyone camped at the lodge. Then you fly into the various lakes and ride back out to the lodge - this is no a shuttle - big bikes would blow here.
