Brake jack is for people who don't know how and when to brake. High placed single pivots are one of the most effective designs on the market. Don't believe the marketing hype of "brake jack" because its a load of crap. If it mattered MX bikes would not be single pivots.

When i was messing about on this, holding the brake on, its incredibly hard to compress the shock. You get about as much movement as you would from a hardtail. If Brake Jack wasnt a problem, then why did they sell floating arms for these?? I wasnt saying however all single pivots suffer badly from it, as it doesnt seem to affect my orange too bad, Im just making an observation that I made from my mates old one!

the brake jack on these is pretty bad, I would find that really wierd to ride - Ive ridden my mates with boxxers, single crowns would definately be strange ha!! nice though!!!

Hey man are you running the normal length shock to get 9'' of travel from this or are you running a shorter one to match the 160mm in the front?
