 Nice ride, digging the red.
Do you get out on the trail with those studs? Or just for Icey road duties?
  • 1 0
Yes, they are for the trail. I like the red too!

stunning. never thought they'd make a carbon bash guard. I suppose 'bash' is a relative term.

I bet it's stronger than plastic.

the mrp is a good one too, is this the truvativ? and how much do your nokians weigh? haha...

The Nokians are pretty light for a studded tire. I think about 740g. This is the stock Truvativ bash.
  • 1 0
damn, that's super light for studs.

how do you like the mallets? I've never run anything but the egg beater, and the acids. but the mallet is appealing...

These are Kona Wah Wah flats. For the record, I have a dislike for Crank Bros pedals.

Does this mean that Bike Works has all the 2011 bikes now in stock?
  • 1 0
No, for some reason Specialized thinks I am special. This one got shipped early - the S-Works stuff seems to either ship early, or really late. This year it was evidently early.

The rest of the bikes (Cambers, Stumpjumpers, Epics, etc) should ship around the end of the month if the forecast is still right.

 Great (around the apartment).

 No Evo?
  • 1 0
 No, I wanted light!
  • 1 0
The Evo is worth it though, regardless, the S-Works is pretty damn light.

I have resigned to the fact that I needed more of an XC bike, I'm getting too old for the kind of riding that would do the Evo or Enduro justice (those were #2 and #3 choices).
  • 1 0
i hear that, moreover you've got to push the enduro... this is sweet.

Wait until 2012, they have a carbon SJ Evo in the works.

 Dude! So sick!

Thanks, it feels awesome. I'm hoping to ride soon if the weather isn't crap.

 Mohawk- sat morning?

You guys are serious able to ride? I hate yous, lol. Hustler, that's a great looking ride.

But we don't have a sweet mountain beside us to snowboard on... trade-offs. We have a forest that is decently flat, and most local riders agree to ride there at this one place during the winter, so trails get packed in and become more rideable.

It's definitely nice to have the mountain close for boarding/sking but I'm about ready to shovel our trails. Seriously.

I am at the shop Saturday AM, that's the catch with staff discounts on bikes. The studs are on and it is ready to roll!

 pretty.
