Thinking of selling the car, find the ride too uncomfortable for daily use now. Anyone interested? Be £2000 with 12months MOT and 6 months TAX (needs both but as I'm not using it I'm in no rush) Cheers.
It's got more to it, I'll try get some other pics. Debadged and wipered on the boot. Audo TT leather interior, suede roof etc.
It's an early GTTDi so 115ish... no engine work and not been remapped. Yet. Do you know much about VAG Tuning? I'n a n00b to VAG and TDi. Only had Jap turbo cars in the past, but doing 120 miles a day I needed TDi.
Yeah, looks like it's got more to it, the black roof is a nice touch, auti tt interior couldn't have been cheap... :O
115bhp? That's pretty good, you've a strong base to start with, there's alot of protential with this tdi engines. Serious amount of torque and good bhp can be got from these engines while maintaining good mpg. I don't know a load about vag tuning but I could try to answer any questions you have...
Also if your looking really good advice look into the "Vee dub club" they really know what they're talking about.
The FD was sold a while ago Needed to make space for more toys, it was quick but wasnt the fastest FD I owned. I've had 5 in total. Got an rotary addiction. Next one is an oldskool RX2 with a 12a brapper :-D Gonna be sick!
Checking out the dub club now. Cheers. Thinking of taking the thule roof bars off and maybe getting some BBS LM stype wheels with a decent offset for a better fit.
Then will think about power, but as it's the daily and gets 120miles on it each day, I still need the 55+MPG I currently get.
Looked sick anyway! Wait, wait, wait, 5 FD's?! Your a lucky man, I'll say that much. Ohh RX2 sounds sweet, I have such love for jap cars, pity their so high on insurance, was thinking of getting a wee glanza turbo over the summer and feckin about with the engine and maybe insure that rather than my current car...
The dub club is fully of proper vw nutters they'll help ya with pretty much any problem you may encounter.
Also that's a sweet car for a day to day runner, lm's look the business on any vw but it suits golfs to a tee.
There's a mk4 golf in my town on ch's they also look sweet, but my mates got lm's on his mk5, I'll try and fire some pics up, lms are honestly one of my favorite rims of all time and I can see them on your car and all I'm going to say it, quite simply, SWEET.
Also I have a vw passat B5.5 lol, looks good enough, stock apart from the aftermarket radio, subwoofer and speakers. 120bhp, 55mpg, alls that's needed at my age tbh. :L
They are stock Audi wheels from an A3, They have spacers on them to fill the arches a bit better but still dont have the right offset. I'd love a set of BBS LMs but spend too much money on bikes ;-) might get some Audi Flat Fives in 18" as they're cool and cheap.
Anyone interested?
