Looks awsome mate, u got a reducer headset on that ? cause it takes up half if your travel !

the lenght of the headtube is massive so its using so much travel as its so long so thats why i asked have you got a reducer headset or just a normal one :L

wtf ? ... the forks only have 203mm of travel and they sit in the bottom crown at 209mm to be safe .... the frame has reducer cups so i can run my standard external headset .... and i added some spacers at the top .... so whats up with that HAHA

i think what he is saying is, the headtube is longer, so the triple clamps or the dual crown (whatever you want to call it) are forced to be more spaced apart therefore the bottom clamp would be taking up some travel. thats why he asked if you had a reducer... (no clue how that would work)

I understand what he meant, but he would have 203mm of available travel in any case, not depending on how big or small the headtube is, unless its HUGEEEE.

yeah but no headtube on any dh bike will ever take up more than 200mm ! and the santions of my 40s stick out the top like 15 20mm so i still dunno what hes on about
