Hmm, quick response to cesalec--This is racing at the highest level. The guys aren't holding anything back. Shit is gonna break. Further, if you listen to the audio, this wheel held up for two runs; that's one more than was required. And it wasn't a stock Bontrager, either. Monkey laced this up by hand the day before the race with lighter spokes, and a DT Swiss rim--DT Swiss Rims are designed to bend on impact vs breaking, allowing a racer to at least finish a run vs a DNF.
