its an atomlab gi female axle hub. I've only been grinding for 2 days more or less, but it is slipping a lot. it uses m6, not full size m10 bolts, so I had to include its washer between the peg and the bolt, which may be causing the slippage. Other than that, the hub has beaten a car. And replacing the bolt is like 88 cents at the hardware store, so I couldn't care less if it snapped. Also, I swapped out the stock allen head bolts for regular hex heads, so I could torque it more with a full size socket wrench; still slipping. I'm considering a dartmoor k-drive with a 10mm bolt through axle.
Well, I ride for Eastern, and worked for Atomlab, but A-lab parts are strong as phuck! Especially the hubs and rims. Eastern just sent out all my new stuff for 2011/2012, so I should have a new build in a few days.
actually, I went with the eastern frame after having seen you ride it gary. Seemed like trustworthy frame after what you put it through.Yeah and the alab stuff is pretty strong; survived a car doing 20 to 30, wheels not even out of true. Bars still as straight as day one.
No I have the deity external bb, 19mm 5.5 or 6 in spindle, can't remember which, but it is too short, so i have to run the non driveside without the cone spacer. I am looking at getting profile cranks and spindle. Maybe christmas.
