yeah its from an older hardtail. I wasn't expecting it to work nearly as well as it does. The BB is a little too low for rooty trails (with this front triangle). Tends to pedal strike roots more than I prefer.

 Could be $800-1000 USD (sans shock) depending on how light the final product needs to be. I used some straight gauge thoughout on this one but could have used as Supertherm TT and stays to lighten things up. Also, larger (tapered/1.5") headtubes and ISCG mounts cost more so those would be options that would make the price vary...

 so about £500 sounds good man, i wouldn't need anything fancy just something that will last and be able to take what i throw at it so i'm not bothered about weight
