The shock has the wider rebound and compression adjustments taken out of it, shimmed to be a bit more progressive and we have found that the narrower shaft gives less stiction. Fabien has different shocks for different tracks but the experience of tuning shocks shocks for him and the bike has provided a lot of experience. Hope this helps.
