When you got the frame where were the cracks because i wanted to weld my old frame like that, and did your cut your own tubing?

The crack was on the Tt. I cut the tube and re welded it. It's really strong and has been taking a beating with no movement.

sorry for asking but did you cut it at the HT so that it was angled more and then you welded it?

all I did was cut it at the drop outs seat tube and tt. then put everything back together with the shorter seat tube. it was really easy.
