Maybe...resale would be affected though so might just leave it.

And yeah, don't think brakeless dh would be a very good idea though

but Robert head tubes are getting smaller now and most bikes have small head tubes anyway so i don't think it would affect the resale

Fair enough, might get it cut down by one spacers worth.
