i dont think its a choice made by strength.. but more by riding abilities... less travel in the rear makes it sort of a hardtail feeling.. although i now have my foes with 180R/170F.. and i do think it is good enough for DH riding.. ? but i will only know for sure after this coming season
It would be weird to have more travel in the front than the back. You want the bike to 'squat' in the middle when compressed if anything, not be jacked up in the back compared to the front that has 'sunk' in further.
