From skatodd: "The Force LE is an upcoming 2013 model that is a mash-up of Force & Sanction for enduro type race use. The Force & Sanction (Force LE) frames are virtually identical in construction. The difference is geometry (TT length, HT angle, & fork length) & a TT gusset. They use the same shock length (7.5") & stroke (2.0") for 150mm of rear wheel travel. The shock tune on Sanction varies slightly to provide better performance on longer descents and thru high velocity compressions (g-out, fast drops)."

Does that help?

i ride a sanction and love it to bits.
but ive always wondered why GT made the rear shox length 7.5x2.0 as its really hard to get after market shox that size. (especially coil shox)

It's pretty hard but possible. I'm riding with DHX 5 Coil that size. I was lucky because there was one on ebay but i had to get it from USA. The main problem is that there were no springs in Poland in that size... I had to wait a bit till I could use shock with some softer spring
