Intrusive Thoughts: I Bought a 1999 Kona Stab Dee-Lux
I had a Stab DeeLux like this 20 years ago, sold my soul to afford it as a frame and built it up part by part, i have a few old pics of it here uploaded...it was a very capable bike at the time, and super massive front trianlge. Do not put stronger brakes on the rear tho, my mono6 brakes broke the chainstay at the dropout meeting point where its the narrowest. Also must ad, probably the first video i watched over the last 10y or so with a nice feeling about it....i was at one with the new bikes-stuff coming along but when 27.5 and other new stuff was starting to get wierd i just quit and went oldschool, i have a dozen of old Kona bikes, pre 2004, a Demo 9 and stuff like these, i am happy to see content like this even tho i know this is only for fun and entertainment mainly. Keep up the videos, will be waiting for the next one! Greetings from Hungary.

Intense Reintroduces the M1 to Their Catalog
Probably the worst dedepreciation in the industry are going to Intense bikes-frames. I am sitting here with an Intense M9 FRO frame set, and i can't shift it for the price of a cheap stinky from 20 years ago :D And i had this with the M6, M3 aswell, absolutly no value in a few years.

Golden age for the gravity line imo! Time flies by in a blink of an eye, HBD PB! How old i feel now is very bad :D

Time Capsule: 2001 - Pinkbike's 20th Anniversary
When i started to ride on local trails and hills, damn i am getting old. The community and bikes and the feel of the whole riding back then was the golden age. New products meant something and everything evolved in a much more understandable fashion, riding and bikes both. I miss the mid 2000's so much...

I am in search for a 2005 Stab Supreme in Large or possibly Medium size. I have a small, but i am 6.5ft so its not ideal, but i just love these frames and want to keep the bike running but want to swap for a larger. So if you have a frame or even front triangle in medium or large please contact me, and lets make a deal :) I am after the 2005 red-white-blue scheme but will consider any colour of the 2005-2006 range, no newer or older frames please!

The Evolution of Kona Bikes: Part 2 - Video
There were bigger names in the business and in mechanical terms better bikes than Kona. But Kona brought the bikes to everyone and to all needs built on a wide range of good looking and lovable frames which i still prefer to this day over anything. The early DH-FR range (99-2005) was pure porn as far as looks and reliability! Wish they still made stuff like those...
