  • 1 0

I still can't lower forks for shit Cry

dude if you need a how to for marzo forks reference the marzo lowering thread. its how i figured mine out, use a high quality spacer as well, none of this bull shit handle bar cut off's hack jobs.

You know the long tube spacer for bottom brackets (forgot the name for it lol ) I tried it with that... just couldnt push the spring far enough down to put the top cap bolt thing back on Razz
  • 1 0
tube spacer or some shit ? yea, with coil it gets difficult, try lowering it by say 20-30mm should work better than 40-50 Salute
  • 1 0
I think it was about 20mm long metal tube. I'll try again soon Smile

Looks dope nate ! Maybe raise the fork slightly, looks super low ?
  • 1 0
naw, it rides soo nice this way, i have the fork nearly locked out as well, so it really only gives on heavy nose landings or hucks to flat Razz

Fair enough then, looks so fun to ride !

 Shouldent of got cabel guides
  • 1 0
eh, i dont mind em, im getting a brake for it soon so i can dirt jump it(DJ's round here are SKETCH with out a brake). i dont mind them that much to be honest i dont even notice them TBH
  • 1 0
Either way you didnt need cabel guies its just cleaner. Also are thoes v or u mounts.
  • 1 0
V-mounts, im running a really narrow rim so u-brakes would be hard to set up
  • 1 0

  • 1 0
 73.2* HA, +5 mm bb, 571mm TT(22.5"), 368mm CS(14.5") 75* ST

Something about those bars don't seem 4.2 inch's.
  • 1 0
they are. the cross bar messes with your head
  • 1 1
Go gusta! Looks heavy though ?
  • 2 0
 because it is...
  • 2 0
whats hilarious is if i tossed on say a argyle or a circus people would be saying it looks light LOL
  • 1 0
Haha I judged it by the tyres, fork, and back hup,and maybe frame?
  • 1 0
out of all those the fork is the only one significantly over average weight.
  • 1 0
mainitou is alot lighter than argyle (unless rct)
  • 1 0
Yes, and and 831 is even lighter than that. What's your point?
  • 1 0
a 831 is a ''noodle'' hahaha but now no point just saying an argyle wouldnt make it look lighter to me
  • 1 0
i didnt know this was an 831. i thought it was a dj series Razz
  • 1 0
I LOL'd just now ahaha, tires are light a shit, the fronts a rhythm lite thats worn to shit(just over 550 grams), and the back is a sb0(should be around 450)
  • 1 0
Yeah this thing ain't heavy. Light tires, light rims, plastic seat, the rest isn't terrible either. If anything it probably rides really well with the light round bits.
  • 1 0
only things that are super heavy

pegs/peg mount for the fork
rear hub(compared to most)
maybe the fork by some peoples standards

if i take off the pegs/hub guard and put the alloy axle caps for the fork back in i drop nearly 2 pounds, i just enjoy pegs too much to care for that Razz
  • 1 0
as if the tires got called heavy, and the frame.
  • 1 0
well the frame while its not heavy, its not light either
  • 1 0
 so street. love it
  • 1 1
how much did that bike cost
  • 2 0
 More than you can afford
  • 1 0
 £9802.64
