I'm pretty sure this is Neko Mulally. Gwin was ripping the Slash, as can be seen in the two pics linked above.

It is a custom painted Trek Session 88. Aluminum frame with a single crown fork. Shorter rear travel too since Fontana is not a hard hitting track like the World cup courses.

Yeah, he was riding his Slash the day before for the Super D race.
